2. Reviews policy

Homeowners who employ the services of contractors and/or services listed in the InsideTheProperyLine.com directory are encouraged to submit written reviews and ratings of the contractors’ and/or service agency’s’ performance.

InsideTheProperyLine.com does not verify the authenticity of each review before publishing it to the site, but does collect contact information from submitters in an attempt to reduce fraudulent reviews. Homeowners should be careful to only post accurate statements about their experience with their contractors and/or service agency, as slander laws are designed to protect people/companies from testimonial misuse.

Contractors and/or service agency’s receive a copy of each review we receive, and have the right to add their own comments to any review posted about them.

InsideTheProperyLine.com will not edit reviews in any way other than to use InsideTheProperyLine.com’s discretion to remove reviews that include foul or vulgar language. Notwithstanding, InsideTheProperyLine.com reserves the right to add, change or remove reviews at any time. InsideTheProperyLine.com is not responsible for the contents of reviews posted to any contractor’s profile.

3. Privacy Policy for Member Contractors

InsideTheProperyLine.com is committed to protecting your privacy. Contractor and Service agency data collected is for the purpose of matching homeowners with your services. We will not sell trade or rent your personal information to a third party without your permission. We may send you offers through email or otherwise which we deem relevant to your specific trade(s).

In the course of your InsideTheProperyLine.com Membership, you expressly consent to being contacted by us in order to provide the services set forth on our site, to service your account, to address matters pertaining to your account, or for other purposes related to our business.

InsideTheProperyLine.com does not control the privacy policy of third parties who batch or transfer information to our service. A third party may have a privacy policy that is different from that of InsideTheProperyLine.com. In these instances, data that you submit to our service via a third party may be shared by that party.

InsideTheProperyLine.com may provide marketing statistics to reputable third parties without disclosing contact information or personally identifying information. InsideThePropertyLine.com publishes home improvement and construction advertisements from companies and individuals who have been licensed by the State of California. InsideThePropertyLine.com also publishes advertisements from unlicensed companies and individuals. All licensed contractors are required by State Law to list their license number in advertisements offering their services. The Law also states that contractors performing work of $500 or more must be licensed by the State. Unlicensed contractors taking jobs that total less than $500 must state in the advertisement that they are not licensed by the Contractors State License Board.
