1. InsideThePropertyLine.com Waiver of Liability

When you search the InsideThePropertyLine.com website, you will be provided with an online list of contractors along with other residential and commercial services in your area.  Although we attempt to verify the credentials of our members, we make no guarantees or endorsements regarding the skills or the quality of the job that the member may perform for you if you hire them.

InsideThePropertyLine.com does not endorse or recommend the services of any particular contractor or service provider. It is entirely up to you to enter into a direct contract or otherwise reach agreement with a member, and we do not guarantee or warrant their performance on the job or the outcome or quality of the services performed.

The contractors and services affiliated with InsideThePropertyLine.com are not employees or agents of InsideThePropertyLine.com, nor is InsideThePropertyLine.com an agent of the contractors and service providers. InsideThePropertyLine.com does not perform, and is not responsible for, any of the services requested by you in your project submission or via your Directory search.

When you enter into a contract with any contractor, your rights are governed by the terms of that contract and by applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws. Should you have a dispute with any contractor or service provider, you must address the dispute with the contractor or service provider directly.

BY USING THE InsideThePropertyLine.com SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE InsideThePropertyLine.com (AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS), InsideThePropertyLine.com’s AFFILIATE PARTNERS AND ANY OTHER PERSON, FIRM, OR ENTITY FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES OR CLAIMS (INCLUDING CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES) OF EVERY KIND OR NATURE, SUSPECTED AND UNSUSPECTED, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, AND DISCLOSED OR UNDISCLOSED, IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR DEALINGS WITH CONTRACTORS AND OR SERVICE PROVIDERS.

2. What is a Certified Member?

Certified Members have had their license and insurance information verified by InsideThePropertyLine.com.

NOTE: Certification only indicates that the license and insurance are valid on the certification date. Subsequent changes in a contractor’s license and insurance are certainly possible, and for this reason it is essential for you to verify a contractor’s license and insurance before signing a contract. Do not rely solely on the information provided on this site for your hiring decisions. InsideThePropertyLine.com, does not accept any responsibility for the validity or accuracy of any contractor’s licensing or insurance information, for any contractor’s performance or conduct, or for or any other matter related to the contractor/homeowner interaction.

3. Advertisement

InsideThePropertyLine.com publishes home improvement and construction advertisements from companies and individuals who have been licensed by the State of California. InsideThePropertyLine.com also publishes advertisements from unlicensed companies and individuals. All licensed contractors are required by State Law to list their license number in advertisements offering their services. The Law also states that contractors performing work of $500 or more must be licensed by the State. Unlicensed contractors taking jobs that total less than $500 must state in the advertisement that they are not licensed by the Contractors State License Board.

4. Testimonial Policy

Homeowners who employ the services of contractors listed in the InsideThePropertyLine.com directory are encouraged to submit testimonials and ratings of the contractors’ and service providers performance. Only those who have hired a contractor can submit a testimonial and a rating for that contractor.

InsideThePropertyLine.com makes no claim to verifying the authenticity or accuracy of any testimonial before it is published to its website. InsideThePropertyLine.com will not edit testimonials in any way, other than to use its discretion to remove testimonials that include foul or vulgar language. Notwithstanding, InsideThePropertyLine.com reserves the right to add, change or remove reviews at any time. InsideThePropertyLine.com is not responsible for the contents of reviews posted to any contractor’s profile.

A copy of your testimonial(s) may be sent to the contractor and/or service agency you have reviewed. The contractor and/or service agency has the opportunity to post their rebuttal when receiving an unfavorable testimonial.

Homeowners should be careful to only post accurate statements about their experience with their contractors, as slander and libel laws are designed to protect people/companies from testimonial misuse.

A homeowner can post only one testimonial  per job, although homeowners can edit their testimonial upon further reflection. All changes will be subject to the same review process as new testimonials.

5. Privacy Policy

InsideThePropertyLine.com is committed to protecting your privacy. Data collected is for the sole purpose of matching you with a contractor and/or service agency. Outside of our network of members, we will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to a third party without your permission. We may send you offers through email or otherwise which we deem relevant to your specific project. You, at any time, may request to no longer receive such offers, at which time you will be removed from the list of offers within a 30 day period.

In the course of using the services provided by InsideThePropertyLine.com, you will be prompted to provide information about yourself and your project details. Some of this information will be sent to contractors who will need this information in order to respond to you (or to other persons or entities) in connection with your project. By providing this information to us, you are requesting, and you expressly consent to being contacted by us and by our affiliated contractors in order to provide the services set forth on our site, to service your account, to address matters pertaining to your account or to your project or project submission, or for other purposes related to our business.

InsideThePropertyLine.com does not control the privacy policy of third parties who batch or transfer information to our service. A third party may have a privacy policy that is different from that of InsideThePropertyLine.com. In these instances, data that you submit to our service via a third party may be shared by that party.

InsideThePropertyLine.com may provide marketing statistics to reputable third parties without disclosing contact information or any personally identifying information. InsideThePropertyLine.com collects information though the use of cookies to determine the effectiveness of our site and to enhance your experience with us.

InsideThePropertyLine.com reserves the right to place a tracking phone number on any contractor profile, and to record phone conversations resulting from phone calls to these phone numbers.
